<h3>How do I Book an Intensive / Crash Driving Course? </h3>
<p>To book an <strong>Intensive driving Course </strong>we try to make it as
easy as possible for you. You can either contact us by phone on <strong><font color="#00FF00">0800
0421421</font></strong> or fill in a online <a href="main_bookingf.htm">application
form </a> with your details and the dates you are available to start the <strong>Intensive
Course</strong> and we do the rest. We will book your <strong>Practical Driving
Test</strong> and arrange all your training with one of our <strong>Intensive
Driving Instructors.</strong></p>
<p>Usually you will be picked up at 08.00 and train until 12.00 have an hour
lunch break then do a further 2 hours of <strong>Driver Training</strong>
in the afternoon. In our experience this amount of <strong>Driving</strong>
in one day is the optimum <strong>Driver Training </strong>duration maximising
the <strong>Instructors</strong> and Pupils time. </p>
<p>You will be taught to the Driving Standards Agency criteria thus improving
your chances of successfully passing your <strong>Driving Test</strong>. Your
<strong>Intensive Instructor</strong> will also use progress charts so you
can plot your progress through out your training course.</p>

<h3>The Intensive Courses.</h3>
<p><strong>3 Day Course.</strong></p>
<p>The 3 day courses are best suited to pupils who have driving experience or
maybe have just failed their practical test. Three days of tuition with your
driving test in the afternoon on the 3rd day.</p>
<p><strong>5 Day Course</strong></p>
<p>The 5 day courses are suitable for pupils who have some basic knowledge of
car control, 5 days of tuition with your driving test in the afternoon on
the 5th day.</p>

<p>The 10 day courses are designed for pupils who have no car experience at
all, this course will take the student from complete novice to competent driver
in 10 days, with your driving test on the afternoon of the 10th day.</p>

<h3>Taking the Practical Driving Test.</h3>
<p>We will make sure you arrive at the test centre in plenty of time, try to
relax do not turn the examiner into some mystical monster. <br>
The <strong>Practical Driving Test</strong> will include an eyesight check
(your Instructor will have already checked your eye sight). </p>
<p>Vehicle Safety Check Questions</p>
<p>These will be asked at the beginning of you <strong>Practical Driving Test.</strong></p>
<p>These are basic safety checks that a <strong>Driver</strong> should carry
out to ensure the vehicle is safe for use. Although some checks may involve
the candidate in opening the bonnet to identify where fluid levels would be
checked, pupils will not be asked to touch a hot engine or physically check
fluid levels. Your <strong>Driving Instructor</strong> will have comprehensively
covered this subject with you before the <strong>Practical Driving Test</strong></p>
<p>During the <strong>Driving Test</strong> the examiner will give you directions
which you should follow. Test routes are designed to be as uniform as possible
and will include a range of typical road and traffic conditions. During the
<strong>Driving Test</strong>, the examiner will ask you to carry out set
exercises.<br>
Throughout the test you should drive in the way your Driving Instructor has
taught you. If you make a mistake, don't worry about it, it might be a less
serious Driving fault and may not affect your result. The <strong>Driving
</strong>examiner will be looking for an overall safe standard of <strong>Driving.</strong><br>
You can make up to 15 <strong>Driving</strong> faults and still pass the test
(16 or more results in failure). However, if you commit one serious or dangerous
fault you will fail the test. Your <strong>Driving Instructor</strong> will
have fully briefed you on what to expect on the <strong>Practical Driving
Test.</strong></p>

<p>We cannot guarantee that you will be at an high enough standard to take your
practical driving test after your course. You must reach a standard consirdered
safe by the instructor before being allowed to take the tuition vehicle on
test.The Instructors decission is final.<br>
We do not refund any test fee monies.<br>
Access Direct can not be held responsibe for any cancellation of tests due
to unforeseen circumstances beond our control.<br>
If there are signs of alcohol or substance abuse or any abusive ,offensive
or other unacceptable conduct the course will be terminated without notice,
and Access Direct cannot be held responsible for any finacial loss incurred.

Deposits are none refundable and need to be paid within three days of your
booking. No other refund of monies paid will be refunded unless 21 working
days notice has been given. Full balance must be paid 28 working days prior
to commencment of the course. <br>
You must not change or cancel your driving test date or time without informing
us first. This could result in us not being able to supply a tuition veiclhe
for the test.<br>
Please ensure you have both parts of your driving licence and theory test
pass certificate, failure to do so could result in you not being able to take
your practical test.<br>
Pupils must meet the minimum eye test requirements. You must be able to read
a number plate 79.4mm high and at a minimum distance of 20.5 meters. If you
wear glasses/contact lenses then you must wear them whenever you are driving.<br></p>
<h3>Taking the Theory Test.</h3>
<p>Your <strong>Hazard Perception and Driving Theory Test</strong> really needs
to be taken before you book the <strong>Intensive Driving Course</strong>,
the reasons being we cannot book your <strong>Practical Driving Test</strong>
until you have a valid <strong>Theory Test</strong> pass certificate. </p>

<h4 align="center">The Theory Test explained</h4>
<p><br>
The <strong>Driving Theory Test</strong> is made up of two parts; the multiple
choice part and the <strong>Hazard perception</strong> part. You need to pass
both parts to pass the <strong>Theory Test</strong>. Once you have passed
the <strong>Theory Test</strong> you can then apply to take your <strong>Practical
Driving Test.</strong></p>
<h4 align="center">Part one – Multiple Choice</h4>
<p align="center"><br>
A question and several answer options will appear on a computer screen and
you have to select the correct answer to the question by touching the screen.
Some questions may require more than one answer.<br>
You will be asked 50 questions in 57 minutes and the pass mark is 43 out of
50.</p>
<h4 align="center">Part two-Hazard Perception</h4>
<p align="center"><br>
The <strong>Hazard Perception</strong> part is also delivered on a computer
but you respond by clicking a button on the mouse. You'll be presented with
a series of 14 video clips which feature every day road scenes. In each clip
there'll be at least one developing Hazard, but one of the clips will feature
two <strong>Developing Hazards</strong>.<br>
To achieve a high score you'll need to respond to the <strong>Developing</strong>
<strong>Hazard</strong> during the early part of its development. The maximum
you can score on each <strong>Hazard</strong> is five.The pass mark for the
car <strong>Hazard Perception</strong> part of the <strong>Theory Test</strong>
is 44 out of 75.</p>
