Is an Intensive / Crash Driving Course for Me?
The downsides to doing an Intensive / Crash Driving Course is the initial outlay of funds, not everyone has a few hundred pounds spare or able to take a week off work, or time away from college. Intensive course’s can be quite strenuous mentally and physically.
• The initial out lay of money.
• Taking time of work or college.
• Physically and mentally demanding.
How to Book an Intensive / Crash Driving Coures
This depends a little on your personality and ability to adapt to new things, Intensive & Crash Driving Courses are not only more frequent lessons over a short period of time the actual teaching will be more Intensive. You will be working towards a dead line, i.e. your Driving Test date. You will not have the luxury of several months to prepare for your Driving Test. Our Intensive Driving Instructors will offer you 100% commitment; in return you will also need to give the same amount of dedication.
Taking that aside though, Intensive / Crash Driving Courses can be exhilarating and very rewarding. If you need to pass your Driving test within a short period of time and do not wish to take several months to do it, then an Intensive course is for you.
Intensive Driving Courses also work very well for people who lead a busy life style and feel they forget most of what they have learned from the previous Driving lesson on the 1 lesson per week ratio.
Intensive / Crash Courses are also not only for the confident pupils, in our experience nervous students also benefit, rather than going through the stress and nerves of a lesson each week. It seems better for them to get it done and out the way as quick as possible.

You will be taught to the Driving Standards Agency criteria thus improving your chances of successfully passing your Driving Test. Your Intensive Instructor will also use progress charts so you can plot your progress through out your training course.

Driving Hazard Perception and Theory Test
We will make sure you arrive at the test centre in plenty of time, try to
relax do not turn the examiner into some mystical monster.
The Practical Driving Test will include an eyesight check
(your Instructor will have already checked your eye sight).
Vehicle Safety Check Questions
These will be asked at the beginning of you Practical Driving Test.
These are basic safety checks that a Driver should carry out to ensure the vehicle is safe for use. Although some checks may involve the candidate in opening the bonnet to identify where fluid levels would be checked, pupils will not be asked to touch a hot engine or physically check fluid levels. Your Driving Instructor will have comprehensively covered this subject with you before the Practical Driving Test
During the Driving Test the examiner will give you directions
which you should follow. Test routes are designed to be as uniform as possible
and will include a range of typical road and traffic conditions. During the
Driving Test, the examiner will ask you to carry out set
exercises.
Throughout the test you should drive in the way your Driving Instructor has
taught you. If you make a mistake, don't worry about it, it might be a less
serious Driving fault and may not affect your result. The Driving
examiner will be looking for an overall safe standard of Driving.
You can make up to 15 Driving faults and still pass the test
(16 or more results in failure). However, if you commit one serious or dangerous
fault you will fail the test. Your Driving Instructor will
have fully briefed you on what to expect on the Practical Driving
Test.
